New Life for Old Devices

Just a quick post to congratulate our client, Hyla Mobile, on the launch of the brand new HylaMobile.com! Hyla Mobile is a leader in mobile device recycling; they partner with major carriers like AT&T and Verizon to offer mobile phone and tablet trade-in programs, as well as sophisticated price forecasting and analytics. They collect more than 7 million devices every year and recycle or refurbish them for resale or donation around the world, including to American troops overseas.

Hanson and Hyla worked together for the second half of 2016 to streamline their public site. We helped them develop a concise, compelling story about who they are and what they do, full of rich visuals and simplified process diagrams. The new site will help investors, the media, and partner companies quickly grasp everything Hyla has to offer.

Behind the scenes, all this beauty is content-managed on a highly customized WordPress platform. The frontend is cutting edge as well, with some fancy animations and extensive use of Flexbox for layout.

Mike Hirsh and Joe Holub led the team at Hanson, Scott Deca and Becca Maag did the design, and Jenny Koeppel and Doug Van Slembrouck did great work on the front-end development side. Thanks to everyone at Hanson, and congrats to Hyla on a fantastic new site!
